My favorite is probably The Wind Waker stage with about 5 tied for second place in my book.
I hate both Delfino Plaza and Classic Mario stages cause the turtles and crab things seem to kill the crap out of you, I love the look but it fits the stage too well at times where I just don't seem to pay attention and get hit by a renegade purple crab. Also I've had problems on the Helbred and the Fire Emblem stage as the backgrounds are pretty/distracting to me and I lose haha.
