What do you expect a big coporation like MS to do. In the last 2 years you have read about a lot of developer talent going to MS. They have purchase exclusives for their console at a drop of a nickel. They have also spent a lot of money increasing the size of their main studios. The have also increase the size of their first party studios up to 21 now.
Now do not get me wrong, this does not make any of those studios good or even make MS first party studios better than Sony or Nintendo, it just means that they are spending the money to develop in house first party content which should be an indication that they are serious about their platform.
