Like I said, MS will invest money for studios creating IPs even if they don't own it. Sony on the other hand tends not to get involved with studios unless they own the IP and may eventually buy the studio.

Either way, BOTH COMPANIES have thrown money around to buy IPs and studios. Sony would probably buy more IPs if they actually had money. Instead Sony has been buys trying to save money.

Ultimately, Gears of War is a great purchase for MS. If Sony bought Gears... lets just say Sony fans would have been very happy.

The situation is far from equal dude. You're playing damage control. Theres no shame in it MS kind of needed this to keep their brand stable. I'm perfectly fine with it.
