3rd Parties to blame for lack of Wii U support?

When I look at the sales figures of games like Assassin's Creed IV (1.22M sold on PS4, 0.6M on XOne, and 0.12M on WiiU), I suspect that WiiU owners either a) aren't interested in 3rd party games, or b) purchase their multi-platform games for other consoles.
