People bought the Wii U for the exclusives and not the 3rd party games. For that reason the 3rd party games can't be just ports but they have to be significantly different than all the other versions of a particular game and the game has to be good enough and advertised enough that people will want to buy it for Wii U. That's how it should be too because the Wii U is a different beast just like the 3DS compared to the PSVITA. I know it's a risky move but someone needs to take that risk. When I say significantly different I mean like how the 3DS version of Sonic Generations is different from all the other versions. The game can stand on its own and people who already have one version might get the other from curiosity. Perhaps the developers should even give the game a different subtitle.
