He's a genius game designer but he's not a great businessman/manager.

He should just stick to what he does well.

Wayne Gretzky was the greatest hockey player ever, but was mediocre as a hockey coach. Michael Jordan is the greatest basketball player ever, but has been mediocre as a basketball owner/GM.

Just because you are great in one avenue doesn't mean you have what it takes in a completely different avenue. 

Hiroshi Yamauchi didn't know the first thing about making games or even playing them (lol), but he knew business at least to a good extent, was ruthless, and also was smart enough to know when to delegate.
