I can guarantee that even if the Wii U was as strong as XB1 or PS4, they would still make excuses on gimped or missed games no matter what. I was talking about PS3/XB360 games that could have been properly ported over.

No, even the gamecube with its bad sales was supported by third parties. It got most of that generations high profile multiplats.
