Something about buying late ports inferior to the PC version that is available at a lower price I think.

Well they would have ported it to PS4 / XB1 earlier, but I don't think it would have sold well without a console to play it on. :-/

Seriously though, it's clear that they've put time and effort into creating the definitive version which takes full advantage of the next-gen hardware. It's not even a year old yet, they have every right to charge full price. Not sure where you were trying to go with that post.
