If you like tactical JRPG games, I say go for Fire Emblem. I really ended up enjoying that game even though it was my first Fire Emblem game. If you want an arcade style game with fun online MP, then go for Mario Kart. Honestly you can't really go wrong with most of what you listed in the poll, though I personally wouldn't recommend Mario Party, NSMB2, or Paper Mario.
