So it's a kids game because a lot of kids play it sorta like they're playing grown-up? I feel EA are not assholes because they called Nintendo games kids games, but because they made it sound like there's something wrong with that. The Wii was a success because it was family friendly, the WiiU actually scared off a lot of that userbase in Nintendo's fruitless attemps of trying to attract "core gamers".
Nintendo games are made with kids and families in mind. If you never had a childhood, or don't have feelings of nostalgia and wanting to feel young again, you wouldn't play them. There's something very positive about having an inner child and if you were forced into maturity early in life, you'd be a much poorer man for it, probably cynical, angry and paranoid. At the very least just boring and dull.
