I always assumed JL's response to that kind of question would be that the main prediction is all that crap about how everyone will come under Nintendo's wing.  They'll get all the third parties together like back in "the good old days" and dominate the competition.  Since it's such an nonspecific goal with no specific timeframe he can basically just wait it out until everyone forgets he ever said it, or quote himself like he's a prophet if he gets lucky again.
