The PS4 had just launched, new owners are hungry for games.

Now you're just coming up with excuses. By your logic Most Wanted U didn't sell due to it coming out months after it's initial release on 360/PS3, so Injustice should'nt have sold on the PS4 due to it being available on other consoles for months. Wii U has a bigger install base than PS4/X1, yet 3rd party games sell higher on PS4/X1, not just "hardcore" games like ACIV or COD, but family games like LEGO Marvel, too. Just Dance and Sylanders are selling higher on the WiiU than PS4/X1, but not by much.

Attach rates are always inflated in the first two months or so fater launch.
|
So then why didn't Darksiders 2 and Tekken Tag Tournament 2 sell well? Nothing is wrong with those WiiU versions and are actually superior to their PS3/360 counterpart due to Darksiders having the DLC on the disc and Tekken having mushroom mode & Nintendo character skins. Darksiders should've sold well on the WiiU, cause that's where the Zelda audience is at, and Darksiders is basically a Zelda game, but with different characters and a better combat. Nintendo also released a non-broken version of Ninja Gaiden 3 and it still didn't sell well. The attach rates should've been high like you said, yet those games didn't sell
|
My question to you is why do you care so much about how much it will sell or not on the Wii U?
|
To prove that the assumption of 3rd party games selling poorly on the Wii U due to being
- late
- "lazy"
- expensive or poor value
are completely false.
|
But still, what's the big deal with rather or not third parties sell on Nintendo consoles? Who cares? Just play whatever games you like.

Um, this is a sales site. And it doesnt make sense for 3rd partys to put "effort" into their games if they sell poorly or not at all. Given how few 3rd party games are confirmed for the U in 2014 and zero for 2015 that's no good at all.
Who cares?
Me and anyone else who likes third party games. I really enjoyed Tekken Tag 2 and Most Wanted on my U. Im totally loving Mass Effect 3 on my WiiU right now, even more so than Mass Effect 2 on my PC thats really saying something (1080p60). However ALL these games sequels wil NOT show up on the WiiU and this makes me VERY, VERY upset
Just play whatever games you like.

The Wii U wil have it's share of games multi and exclusive. It won't get all the multiplats but enough and it's exclusives. If its not for you than don't but it. Simple as that. No need for all the ridiculous speculations.
