As long as it it priced at a point where people who generally buy their games are happy (say 200$CAD) and they pump out games for it, it will sell games. The WiiU only fails by virtue of lack of games. Sure, the pricepoint is way too high due to the gamepad, but other than that it really just needs games and fast so Nintendo can make money selling them. The games also need to be localized and advertised aggressively. At the moment I feel like they have 0 mindshare. |
History of Nintendo consoles doesn't show that it's enough to just make their games. The console needs something unique that clicks with the generation.
- NES 61.91
- SNES 49.10
- N64 32.93
- GC 21.74
- Wii 100.95
- Wii U 5.34
One of these numbers does not belong (and it's not the Wii U).
