Well, we dont know exactly why Nintendo is not breaking even. Seems the logical reason is inventory.
If thats the case, them cutting the price to 199 would be better than having them in the warehouse making 0. It would definitly reduce the ammount of losses.
But, if it catches on and becomes sucessful then Nintendo has another problem, wich is that they will be losing money on new systems ordered. If you ask me, they would be better off with problem #2.
