Just one thing more coming to my mind.
I guess if it was possible to optimize the WiiU production in the way that the power consumption is on an absolute minimum AND making better and better rechargeable battery packs, maybe in future it can be sold with an rechargeable battery pack, which can support the whole WiiU console with energy for lets say 5-6 hours.
Then it could become a "portable home console". ^^
