How about a military shooter, and a sci fi one even more set in realism then the other. Racer as in real cars. Nothing mario just cut the crap and stop with mario for a few years.
They see them like that casue they are mario mario more kiddi mario, new games would be part of the solution. Some serious marketing and rebranding Ninty would be needed.
