I really now think Wii U is their last traditional home console. They won't go third party, but I think they are looking now at ways to offer their games to consumers in a very different way.

The home console is now I think strictly the territory of higher end game experiences ... people have their smartphones for short/cute/casual game sessions, so for home consoles they want something different ... big experiences on a 50 inch screen, that's why PS4/XB1 are doing so well.

There is no market left for anything in between hardware wise.
