I think for sure now another Nintendo platform is coming for 2015, maybe even sooner if possible. Probably a tablet type of device. They need another product line that can generate profit.
The whole "don't worry even if Wii U sells like GameCube, Nintendo will make lots of money off 3DS!" line of reasoning has to be thrown out the window looking at these results.
