It will outsell the PSP. The name of the game has simply changed though, Nintendo is dealing with an enemey in smartphones/tablet gaming that is unlike any they've ever faced before and far more challenging than Sega or Sony.
I think you will see a new third pillar platform from them in 2015 which will coexist with the cheaper 3DS/2DS for a couple of years at least.
