Are you suggesting they go third party?  I personally think that if Nintendo is only interested in creating a console that they themselves can have any success on, then they are being anti consumer.  It's like if Disney only released their movies on HDDVD and forced people to buy an HDDVD player for the privledge of watching only their movies.  That's an anti consumer approach.

What I am suggesting is that Nintendo right now is facing a crisis and right now they know how to patch up the boat but once the system does bad and next gen comes I wonder if nintendo will learn how to swim and go back to the shore or drown in the sea.
