I would find it interesting if they did a Star Fox meets KotOR. Keep the traditional Star Fox gameplay but add in the ability to upgrade (weapons & abilities), level up Fox or other characters as well as their respective ships and include cities, ground missions,etc.
Overall I think it would work but lord knows that would be a long shot for Nintendo to do something like this.
