I agree wholeheartedly. It basically sucked. Like the OP said, too many characters introduced, nobody is sympathetic or likeable, too much weird and unnatural people, I didn't care about anything or anyone. Pretentious and too modern try-to-be-badass dialogue.
Most modern series suck because they just try to wow you with the modern tough attitude and cynicism no matter if its unrealistic and what setting it takes place in. It's cheap and garbage.
