"Return to it's former glory" implies that there have been bad F-Zero games. There just hasn't been one since GX on GC. All the F-Zero games have been really good, even if GX was too damn hard.
And yes, I think a well made F-Zero could sell well on Wii U. The franchise has always had solid sales.
Now Star Fox? THAT you can talk about "return to former glory", because there hasn't been a good one since 64 (and Adventures doesn't count, that wasn't a Star Fox game).
