What type of game will be best for a new Kid Icarus game.

Metroidvania style, with level ups and tons of items, Magical attacks, secret areas and the like. At first you might be able to only glide but as your wings get stronger double jump, gliding and eventually flying. Lots of Boss battles and tottally non linear exploration.
