Keep watching and get your head examined
The Walking Dead Season 2 is not good TV. It's fine it you're binging, but if you actually pay attention to it you realise that stuff only happens at the start and end of each episode and the rest is filled with awful dialogue. (I've enjoyed season 4 much more)
But Game of Thrones will always have a lot of characters and always be really complicated. You actually have to focus on it to keep track of all the different threads. It's not always a good thing, but it has been trimmed from the even more complicated books with their absurd number of characters
