Why is the UK shunning 3DS/WiiU harder than elsewhere? (Virtually absent from top 40)

Pricing, Nintendo being a niche there, lack of shelf space/visibility,The fact the software sells what it does with not popping up on the charts at all is what I find interesting its quite odd
