The interesting thing is, pretty much everyone who's been criticising your approach here is right regardless of whether NPD is within a margin for error of VGC or if NPD is vastly different from VGC in favour of PS4. But if NPD backs up VGC data then you will be so monumentally wrong that I think nothing less than an apology thread will be called for, in which you post a video of you actually eating a crow, which will have to be feathers on otherwise it could just be a chicken. And you will have to say your VGC name in the video otherwise it could just be some random youtube video of a guy eating a crow. So are you prepared to do this if NPD and VGC are close?
Note, no one has said NPD won't show PS4>Xb one, and no one has said NPD won't show PS4>>Xb one to the extent that VGC is pretty much forced to make an adjustment. All anyone has asked for and you've failed to provide is evidence that is available now. So there is no justification in demanding a series of crow eating videos from those who are simply making a reasonable demand. As the saying goes, extra-ordinary claims requires extra-ordinary evidence.

The fact that Sony can not supply enough =/= Sony can not supply as many as MS.
Last NPD proves that Sony supplies/sold more than MS.

Look I think Sony are making more machines than MS, but what you post is antecdotal evidence... pretty good evidence... but the proof of anything is NPD. I actually agree with ethomaz suggestings... But he didnt post that list at the start of this whole conversation thread... he said he had info but didnt post it till later :)
Sony even launched in further countries in December and are continuing to do so, so if they are ahead or equal in USA that is absolutely amazing stuff... But anyway I digress, lets just wait for NPD :D
