Why is the UK shunning 3DS/WiiU harder than elsewhere? (Virtually absent from top 40)

That's ... a really rubbish excuse. It doesn't explain why every other home console sells better and why WiiU has been doing bad since the first day?

Wii was mostly targeted at the casual players. Since they are not interested in Wİi U anymore, it is now purchased as a secondary console mostly, and for that role it is too expensive. I would buy a Wii U, but not for the current prices. At 150-200$ with a few games bundled, Wii U would be in a much better position.
