You mean like Pokepark. (Admitedly, Pokepark 2 had a pretty decent 3D Battle system albeit only with Pikachu playable)

I only played the first one. Sort of like that, but with far more depht and not just Pikachu. As far as I remember Pikachu had like 4 moves.
