It is going to be difficult to work with a communist government high on censorship and personal intrusion.
Google and Facebook struggled with the censorship and Apple are pretty much playing ball with the Chinese government by constantly pulling anti-censorship apps.
MS and Sony will be no different. Communist China is not going to bend so to sell their consoles there both companies have to bow to the government demands no matter what they say in public.
Any Chinese buying into kinect know what's happening.
Nintendo should really be considering a piece of the pie as their consoles are ideally priced.
I use to think that China would be a great market for consoles but now I am not so sure. Speaking to people I work with from that part of the world they view the xbox and playstation generations in the west very negatively and really don't want China to be like that - but yet it seems PC gaming is OK, strange.
