The article is so obviously a joke to anyone who reads any further than the title. But what amazes me is the amount of venom contained in the responses from people taking it seriously. "I don't know anyone who even owns a Wii U.", "No one I know has even heard of a Wii U." Seriously? If you have no interest in Nintendo's hardware/software, why would it bother you whether it did or didn't sell 5 million consoles last month. I know at least 4 people who have a 3DS and I street pass strangers with them all the time. I don't know a single person who has a Vita, nor have I ever seen someone on the street with one. But, if one day Vita sales exploded, would it piss me off? Of course not. I enjoy my 3DS, and how many units its competitor sells isn't going to change that for good or for bad. Despite people talking about Xbox One supply constraints, I see them readily available everywhere I go, and have seen them available since well before Christmas. But if it had sold out completely, would that tarnish the enjoyment I have with my Wii U? Of course not! But, I guess that all depends on what kind of personality you have and whether or not you are happy with your own life.
