Diversifying gaming is making it better.

And dual analogue is garbage, ask any PC gamer worth their salt. It only sticks around because it's safe, conditioned comfort food, like McDonalds.

i have the same opinion on the wiimote especially for zelda, mario, and donkey kong which made the controls worse. you can thing it's garbage all you want it's still the most used form of gaming by far, for 3 generations already, where is the wii mote, its already being retired into oblivion.

Wiimote support is very common on Wii U, there is no sign they plan to retire it. And you're missing the whole point; the Wiimote was merely the vehicle for what the Wii achieved; broadening the demographic range of gaming.

And popularity doesn't mean something is any good. Justin Beiber, Twilight, and McDonalds are popular.
