Sony has 360 million for 3 consoles vs ms and Nintendos combined 368 million over 7 consoles. A defecit of approximately 8 million consoles. 8th gen so far puts sony back another combined 8 million. That means the PS4 will have to outsell xbone and wii u combined by 16 million for the 8th gen. Possible?

Yes it is very possible and will most likely happen. ( I really do think the Wii U won't do well sale wise, however I will still love the games for it ) and that the gap between xbox and ps4 will be bigger enough in Europe and Japan to make that remainder up.
