Because you totally cannot have the exact same game what released but with an online option also, can you Nintendo...

'Like we did with the NES'.  Yeah, those that actually played with friends on the NES are now in their 30s or 40s and likely have lives too crowded to get together with friends just to play Mario, so online would help with that.

I'm of the firm belief that not every game should have online multiplayer for the sole sake of having it.  Put that extra time into polishing the main game rather than trying to shoe horn a half baked online experience into it just to say it has it.  Did Arkham Origins REALLY need they online multiplayer mode, or could that time have been put into really making the main game shine?  And that isn't nearly a bad offender, just a mild example.

As a rebuttal to Kyliedog's par for the course negative opinion, I'd rather play Mario local multiplayer with my wife and son, or call up a buddy or two a few times a month any day over trying to actually get a good game together with some wingnut I don't know online.

3D World is a multiplayer game by design, online multiplayer wouldnt be tacked on at all. Its just multiplayer in its current form.... over the internet. Arkham Origins is not a multiplayer game by design so thats not a fair comparison. Its like releasing a racing or fighting game without online, why?

I predict that the Wii U will sell a total of 18 million units in its lifetime.

The NX will be a 900p machine
