Right, but just because you can add multiplayer to a game, doesn't mean you should. Zelda could have multiplayer on horseback, but it would be less fun than the main adventure, and thus take resources away from making a better single-player game. I think it's best to have great multiplayer features for games that focus on multiplayer, like racers and fighters. Play to your strengths.
