Even Ubisoft didn't do it with Rayman Legends. Nintendo isn't going to force something because we want it. It has to work too. If you enjoy forced online options, there's always Sony/Microsoft and many other third party developers.


But this logic fails because no one would be forcing you to play online, it'd simply be an option. Also I don't see how the framerate would worsen due to online play outside of lag, but then again I'm not a techy. It's definitely true though that lag could be a nuisance, but that hasn't stopped the many many other games with online from having it.
