now, if you agree with me and consider "hardcore" gamers those who actually like to find different gaming experiences, who give more value to creativity and gameplay rather than visuals and who love games that offer a challenge, then definetely the WiiU has a lot to offer to that audience

Not sure if serious? Harcore gamer simply means a person that plays videogames on a consistend basis, like every week or even every day, and therefore spends a considerable amount of money in buying games. While "casuals" only play once in a while and only buy games once in a while, like the crowds that buy madden, fifa and little else, and the wii for it's motion controls fad etc.

I'll be sure to tell my Farmville and Mafia Wars friends they're hardcore gamers.
