Why doesnt the 3DS get a Final Fantasy game?

SE has their hands tied, but im hearing nothing but good things about Bravely Default. I was gonna try the demo but the store was being a pain in the ass for the past days, then i had to sign up for Ninty Network which took longer than i wanted, then i said screw. will try it though
