There are a number of issues with what you have said. Firstly we have no idea at all who is going to win the US. We have had limited ps4 stocks worldwide so we dont know the true demand. In addition, theX1 has released with what is imo a better stable of launch titles. These can skew initial console sales though I note that still the ps4 sold more initially. Bearing these I dont think that the US has been "won" yet in any way.

As for Titanfall, really the preorder numbers in the US (the X1's strongest market) is just higher than Infamous SS's numbers (which has a week more to launch). This suggests the demand while strong is not big enough to be a major system seller. Especially MS were so greedy at how well they thought this game would do that they put it on the X360 to increase console sales (really splitting the sales between pc, x360 and x1 was a pretty stupid move and they will likely pay for it in much lower sales for the x1 (which is the one that really matters right now).
