Just a reminder, since a few people in this thread seem to be mistaken, the 9 million forecast was for the fiscal year. That means 12.45m shipped by the end of March. If we are generous and say they are at 6.5m shipped at the end of 2013, that means another ~6 million in just the next three months. That is 74% more than they shipped in the past twelve months. A 1438% increase YoY for the quarter.
Short of giving them away for free, the Wii U has no chance of being close to their forecast.
