Some of the most impressive looking next gen games are from Japanese developers such as Deep Down, MGS V, and FFXV.  


I dont know... tech demoes of great looking Japanese games showed up at the beginning of last gen too, but at the end of the day western tech dominated the gaming scene. Even Japanese puiblishers tried to jump on the bandwagon ( SE and its Unreal 3 fiasco) but didnt make it.

Im not saying that we wont receive pretty Japanese games, but what does Japanese developers have tech wise to rival Unreal 4, Cry 3/4, Frostbite 3/4 and a potential ID Tech 6?
