And yes, it works in GT6. Sorry if you aren't good enough to pull it off. Only the Lord of GT would sit and defend the franchises garbage AI. Not going to spend another second talking about it LOL.

They're not the same thing at all actually. The final AI in GT6 is a massive improvement over previous GTs (and the Academy demo) and the fact you think they're the same shows your ignorance in the matter.
