I think the only game I think that will move consoles at $500for MS is Halo, I dont expect a price drop until after Halo 5 drops might as well get those huge Halo fans to pay full price for the first next gen game of their favorite series. |
I don't expect the next Halo to be as big as Halo 3. After 1 and 2 everyone was waiting for the new Halo on the 360 and the end of the saga.
Halo 3 sold close to 4m in it's first week on a 12m install base, no Halo game has launched that big after that while having a much larger install base.
There is just much more competition in the shooter genre on consoles these days. Halo is still a big franchise but not as big as it used to be.
