I disagree with some of what you said (especially in regards to the soundtrack) but I have to agree about the repetition. It's what has kept me from completing the game. I really enjoyed a lot of the character development and the story, but the lack of variety regarding the gameplay left me unmotivated to go back to it. I'm sure I will eventually, as it's still a great game, but I just wish it was a little less straightforward.
