Horrible reasoning, just because people (aka some xbox fans on the internet) expect an official announcement from Sony for every million they sell, doesn't mean they'll get one. 

What is so horrible with that guess? What we know so far is:

- Sony predicted sales of 3 million by years end (which basically should be shipped=sell-through)

- Sony announced selling 1 million in 24 hours (NA)

- MS announced selling 1 million in 24 hours (13 countries)

- Sony announced selling 2.1 million worldwide since launch

- MS announced selling 2 million worldwide since launch.

They have both been adamant with announcing everything they have. Since we have had no announcements, what we CAN go by is Sonys prediction (sadly MS hasn´t given one) which is 3 million by years end, telling us VGC numbers are a bit too high right now.
