Yep. Nintendo dug their own grave by once again by creating an inferior console that is barely above last gen standards (the second time in a row), but the problem is the casuals arent in to lure the third parties their way. Most of the serious third party titles never made it to the original Wii so once a good portion switch consoles and last gen consoles start to lose support the Wii U is screwed. The writing is on the wall and the shovel sticking out of the Wii U's grave has Nintendos own fingerprints all over it.

Question, did ZombiU not sell near half a million units?

Half a million in sales was mostly passable early last gen and mostly sixth gen. That and its mostly Japanese companies and indies who accept those kinds of sales these days because of their dwindling markets and their lowered development costs. We've spoken about this before. Ubisoft reported disappointment in Nintendos sales. Ubisoft profited off of every console and they sold better than any other third party on the Wii consistently with Just Dance. They broke into Nintendos casual market easily. It's the first tiime I've ever heard them express disappointment at all with Nintendo.
