I think it was a mistake because they are giving Sony a head start in multiple territories. I also think that it's a result of several of the XBO's services being region, U.S., specific. Getting equivalent features for the varying territories around the globe has to be trying. It's another reason I think MS gearing the XBO's around non-gaming features to the detriment of hardware was a mistake. In short, They've a made more expensive console, with inferior technical specifications, that's harder to role out in different territories due to it's non-gaming features.
