It's the Nintendo fan snubbed cycle

- Third party says "X/Y/Z" franchise isn't suitable for Wii U 

- Nintendo fan gets up in arms about it. Even though they'd never actually buy said franchise. 

- Then an insinuation is made along the lines of: "we never wanted that crappy franchise anyway. Nintendo fans have better taste than to buy franchise X/Y/Z." 

- Additionally sometime's a parting statement like "pffft, company X/Y/Z will be sorry for ignoring Nintendo, they'll come running back once Mario Kart sells 20 million Nintendo consoles on its own!". 

Rinse, wash, repeat. 

Yeah i know how it works. There is a lot of people with double standars issues in this industry (Bayonetta 2 & DW... i mean Hyrule warrios comes to my mind right now)
