Kinda off topic but I think the Wii U should have launched next year. They needed it last year because the Wii was so outdated but Nintendo always launches late.
Nes--no competition really so....yeah.
Super Nes--launched two years after the competition.
N64--launched a year after the competition.
Gamecube--launched a year after PS2 (same time as Xbox, though)
Wii--launched a year after Xbox 360 (same time as PS3, though)
Nintendo NEVER launches first. They sit back and see what everybody else is committed to and what does/doesn't work and then they come and shake things up (with the exception of the Gamecube which shook up nothing).
