Dark Souls and Monster Hunter are both games I enjoy. Both games can be challenging at times, and more importantly, both franchises have qualities that are beloved by fans that set the games apart from others. Additionally, I feel like people ripping on the Dark Souls PC port have either only read about it or played it during the initial release, because it is much better now, especially if you mod (which should be yes if you're playing it on PC).
